Jennifer Mackenzie joined the National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre (NCPIC) in November 2009 and is currently working as a therapist on a treatment efficacy study. Previously she was conducting studies into measurement of cannabis use and withdrawal symptoms.

Jennifer's background is in clinical research primarily focusing on sleep and circadian disturbance and neuropsychological functioning in mental health. She has also worked in the areas of research and treatment of sleep disorders, neurodegenerative disorders and mood disorders in adolescents through to older adults. She has facilitated a variety of group therapy interventions including cognitive remediation and CBT.

She is a registered psychologist. Jennifer's main areas of interest are the treatment of comorbid mood disorders and substance use, and neuropsychological functioning through the ageing process.
