Tori Barnes

Administrative Officer

Tori performs the role of Administrative Officer, working on various Communications Team projects and providing Executive support and Administrative leadership to the Centre. Tori joined the National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre (NCPIC) in April 2010, working initially as Executive Assistant to the Director of NCPIC, Professor Jan Copeland, whilst Carly Harris was on maternity leave. This was Tori’s first role since moving to Sydney in 2009 from the United Kingdom (UK) where she gained over ten years experience in Human Resources (HR) Management, Operational Management, Office Management and Project work in various business sectors. Tori’s last role in the UK was at a large Teaching Hospital in Nottingham, England where she worked for the National Health Service (NHS) as an Assistant HR Manager on a project to reassign over one thousand NHS employed clinical and support staff to a new, Independent Sector Treatment Centre in line with a UK Government initiative.
