NCPIC will keep you up-to-date with what’s happening by highlighting two key areas:

The National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre aims to ensure the effective delivery of evidence-based information on cannabis to the Australian community.

Information on upcoming NCPIC events, national free training on the delivery of motivational and brief interventions, regular updates on cannabis trends in the community, as well as information on new resources and training materials will be listed here as information becomes available.

You can also find information about our competitions in the lead up to their deadlines, including the Poster Competition and the Short Film Competition.

The Poster Competition, for secondary school students between the ages of 12 and 18 years, has closed for this year. The winner will be announced on 30 September, 2008.

The Short Film Competition gives young people aged between the ages of 16 and 25 years the opportunity to showcase their creative talent and express their thoughts and ideas about cannabis and its impacts upon young people. The closing date is 20 October, 2008 and the winner will be announced on 28 November, 2008.
