NCPIC - National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre

Cannabis Information

One of the key goals of the Centre is to provide the Australian community with access to evidence-based information on cannabis and related harms.

Not only is it important that this information be accurate and up-to-date, it is also vital that it is easily accessible to a range of target audiences. As a result, NCPIC has endeavored to provide as much of this information in an electronic form on the website as possible.

NCPIC has produced a number of factsheets on a variety of cannabis-related issues, as well as a series of resources. These are available electronically, and copies of the booklets can be obtained via the resource order form. If you need to speak to someone about a cannabis-related issue, you can call the Cannabis Information Helpline on 1800 30 40 50. The call is free nationally.

If you are in need of information and/or resources to do with other drugs you will need to contact the alcohol and drug information service in your state and territory. These are staffed by trained counsellors who can assist you with information, appropriate treatment and counselling. The majority of these services run 24 hours a day. You can also go to our links page for recommended websites that may also assist you.
