Training and Workshops

One of the ways that the Centre will achieve our goals is by delivering training to a range of target audiences, including the health and education sectors, as well as the general community.

A range of interactive workshops are being offered free of charge to workers with the latest evidence-based information and interventions on cannabis use and cannabis use disorders that can be used when working with either adults or adolescents. They contain didactic and skills-based components and are framed around core competencies.

We suggest an add-on modular series of workshops which target the various levels of information and skills. These can all be adapted to suit your local needs.

The workshops currently available are as follows:

We recommend that no more than 15-20 people attend each workshop, although the 'Cannabis: What you need to know' workshop is able to be delivered in a presentation format and could cater for up to 30-50 people if required.

If you would like to book a training session or workshop, please contact training@ncpic.org.au.

Details of training workshops currently being conducted around the country are available.
