Get involved – cannabis, personality and attention

Are you aged between 14 and 24? Do you have access to a computer with internet connectivity? If so, you might be interested in taking part in our online study. We are investigating the relationship between cannabis use (including no use), personality, and attention. We are recruiting participants to complete 3 online assessments at 6 monthly intervals. The assessments will ask about your use of cannabis and other drugs, your mental health, and personality. The assessments will also include a simple 10-minute attention task. You will be compensated for your time. If you have any questions or would like to participate in the study, please contact Lucy Albertella (l.albertella@unsw.edu.au).

Cannabis use and pain study

Cannabis has been anecdotally linked to pain relief for centuries but little is known about the biology of cannabis and pain. In this study we aim to explore how cannabis use affects the body’s pain circuitry by comparing pain sensitivity between two groups of people: Group 1: Non-cannabis using volunteers, and Group 2: Regular cannabis users (for at least the last 2 years). Exercise for cannabis withdrawal

Is your cannabis use a problem? Find it difficult to reduce your use or give up? Do you have sleep difficulties when you go without cannabis? Get irritated easily when you try to give up? Get a head start by joining our confidential study into a world first clinical trial testing the effects of a structured exercise regime for the management of cannabis withdrawal. Participation in the study requires that you are prepared to spend 7 days in a hospital detoxification unit and the study is entirely free.
